Useful Information
We realise becoming a driving istructor can seem quite complicated, with all
the learning and training you have to cary out. Don't worry - we've created
these pages to give you all the information you need to know about becoming
a driving instructor. We've also included useful links to the sites you can
click through to, we hope you'll find the info useful!
Can I train to become an instructor in my local area?
Yes. Passed is a local organisation providing training and instructor development
across the West Midlands. Please bear in mind the course is not full time and
because we work around your other commitments, some of your time will be spent
studying at home.
Will the course fit around my work and commitments?
Yes. When arranging your training we try to take into consideration your existing
job or family commitments and your course structure takes into account both
your ability and your availability.
What happens if I fail one of the 3 qualifying exams?
You can attempt Part I as often as you like (except in Northern Ireland where
you have 3 attempts), although most of our students pass first time. You can
have three attempts each at Parts II and III (DSA test fees apply). If you
are unlucky enough not to pass at the third attempt, you can restart your course
with pay as you go training. We will train, guide and support you throughout,
giving you every opportunity to pass the test. |
